Wanting to know if there is anyway to go about mods to a XF Falcon. 4.1fuel injected.

It already has extractors and 2.5inch exhaust. I was thinking like a customs air intake and twin thermos.

What do you guys reckon?

Any suggestions?

i did twin thermos to my xf carbi.. heaps better.. definately worth the effort, responds better, and better fuel economy, little extra power too...
air intake didnt seem to make much difference for me but then again it is a carbi, dunno bout the efi...
go with the thermos..

Do you find that your engine runs quieter with the thermo fans rather than the old clutch fan?

thermos are not hard, just can get annoying trying to make a shroud.
i had an efi xf, and they don't rev much over 4000rpm, and i think it's because of all the bends for the intake plumbing, and the airbox is located right over the extractors.
i think (although i never did this) that customising it would give more power

Yeh i was thinking about getting some heat proof flexy pipe and maybe a pod filter and try run it behind the head light or something. Still havent worked it out but i know for sure it is going to change from the stock setup.

Should let it breath alot better and hopfully give it some more stick. Should help out abit with the lumpy cam also.

Can you just install a ef,el radiator with the thermos so i dont have to make a shroud?

the biggest prob with efi xf they only run 8.75 to 1 compresion drop in a short motor from a carby model 9.4 to 1 run your efi head it should be e2 or e1 stamped on head passenger side above dizzy best cam is ht140 from ivan tighe in brissy-- piss off the airbox --run airflow meter with pod filter on the end --- you will be suprised
