hey i have had a read through some of the xh snorkel onto the xg air box threads but i haven't found how your meant to fit it :?:

on the xg where the hose runs from the bottom of the air box into the throttle body is where your meant to put the xh snorkel. so how do you plumb it all back up from the top rectangle hole on the top of the air box.

Huh? you remove the XG snorkel and the XH one goes into where the original XG one was in the rectangle hole... Dont need to touch the throttle body to airbox pipe lol. The snorkel just needs to be screwed down or secured somehow at the front (if you screw it down watch you dont get the radiator). I've also heard, but not sure of, that you need to modify the fan shroud...

Looks like this, dude:

Also, you can get an EA airbox to throttle body pipe to free up some restriction as they are the full diameter all the way along.

Edit: Picture is from my EB sedan btw.

Wouldnt he be better changing the log manifold to a snail shell, a bbq plate and dropping thermo fans and big mouth on it instead of mucking around with just a pipe? These parts are cheap to come by and not hard to install ( Id say the thermo fan setup would be the hardest).
Just offering advise, maybe I might be wrong or going too far with what the op wants to achieve.
