Ride: NEW MACHINE 323i GOES HELL FAST

Power: 169 rwkw

Location: in the middle of peak hour traffic
SA, Australia

yeah the cold air intake works good this mod is the best so far the car drives very smooth done extra work to use the grill as the intake point but you can really feel the air suck thru trottle response is the best it like putting a chip in regards mark :wink:

interested in this grill mod, can you tell me how you did it? what does it look like? pics possible?

will the XH shorkel fit an EL or do you need the AU XR6 snorkel that sells for $45 on eBay all the time.

the el air box snorkel connects @ bottom so the xh wont fit...
i beleive there is a tickford one u guys can use though?

also i think a ss inductions big a** BA one can be modded on your airbox aswell... dont quote me on it though

hey yeah look at my gallery i ve got a piccy there basic run down i blocked out the air flow 4 the radiator with metal plate and forced air to the air box and sealed lights with duct tape :lol: maybe gaffer tape would have being betterImage (alt+p)

yeah i got it i got ripped off but iam Happy :) but seem very hard to get from wrecker s in adelaide i had sent a pm 2 furntree gully guys but no help :wink: there

hmm, looks dodgy but as long as it works...thinking about it, if you could get that on a dyno with an air fan, and prove it works (without over heating your car) you might be onto something...with some slightly better disigning LOL. :D

Yeh been wondering the same i also own an ed. Gotta get me one of these xh snorkel, been looking at pod filters but yeh dun like the idea of hot air being sucked in. so yeh gonna get xh tomz.

yeah look at the mods pages in eb setion cause ed is the same set up ,in there the part number u want is listed and is the right part number but make sure u put a k & n filter panel in look in my gallery 4 the pics total cost is about $200 bill but worth it seems to free the car up drive better and gettin good milage to very easy to carry out :wink:

did anyone else notice that the rubber on the bonnet is now in the way a bit and hits the snorkel? its making my bonnet sit up a bit on the passenger side, i will be triming the rubber from there when i get home, but just wondering did anyone else have a better solution?
