Hey all just picked up a cam shaft sold as an el xr6 cam, wanted to know if it actually is. Had a look thru the parts database but couldnt see anything there,
Down the shaft is stamped:
91 DA 62 50 AA X2

Any help would be great, not really too worried if its not, just get it reground or something I guess..

Looks like a standard Eb cam to me

the 91 at the start means its a 91 part, and as said if it was tickford it would be followed by DT not DA

yup, ticky cams have 93dt OR 94dt on them... sorry sounds like you have had a bad trade!

yea appears that way, yr, type, then the cam lift n advance n all those fascinating numbers....im pretty sure ne way :P i think u have the same cam as my car std :D

most tickford cams also tend to have a red rind painted on the shaft as well..AFAIK
