hi guys. decided on a xr6 eb/ed head and im wanting to know the following.
does the std ed rocker arms and cam fit and work with the xr6 head? do you get xr6 power with the std ed block/cam/ecu/rocker arms?(doesnt matter too much but want just a bit more for the caravan work) what else do you need to get tickford power in a fairmont? how much will a xr6 ecu and cam cost? Will A AU top cover fit the ed xr6 head if i use a ef/el/au top cover gasket? im also using a au multi layer vrs set too |

Yep do you get xr6 power with the std ed block/cam/ecu/rocker arms?(doesnt matter too much but want just a bit more for the caravan work) Nup there is a tickford cam also to bump the power up..better off getting an aftermarket one to go with the xr head what else do you need to get tickford power in a fairmont? how much will a xr6 ecu and cam cost? anything from $100 to $400 for cam and ECU Will A AU top cover fit the ed xr6 head if i use a ef/el/au top cover gasket? im also using a au multi layer vrs set too

its a package
they changed head/cam/fuel reg/ecu....thats all u need to go from 148kw to 161kw fit AU head gaskit for a bit more comp while your at it

unless you use the xr6 head,cam,fuel reg and ecu all together you probably wont notice any real difference..
but to answer your question yes you can use the std rocker gear and cam in the xr6 head.. |

hi if the xr6 head/cam/ecu/fuel regulator is used in a normal ford together would fuel consumption be the same as a normal ford or better or will it be worse
