yeah, i have read all his threads so far and this guy has no idea about cars...

you dont wanna drip fuel then run the tank dry...

honestly who has this many problems with an 02 XR6T???

the only time you need a oil catch can is when your on the track...

simply if you cant understand these things then you should have a car...

The blow by on the BA was bad,had oil film in the turbo pipes etc

The catch can did the trick...

vik...this happy was afrer about 1000 k's

Thread tidied up.

Please keep on topic guys, if you have a problem with how a member is using the forums, just report it (thanks to the user who did use the report function).

Might take a bit... but a mod will get to it.

Lumo - the trick with an EFI car is not to block the lines, but to relieve the fuel system of pressure. The easiest way to do this is to remove/disconnect the fuel pump fuse/relay and run the car at idle until it stalls.

After this has been done, the fuel system will be devoid of fuel and you can go about changing the fuel filter.

Also Lumo, as described in my PM to you - multiple threads on the same topic are not appropriate. Members are more than willing to help you, but patience is a virture.... and impatience will do nothing but discourage others from helping.
