hi was wondering if anybody out there new if the xr6t pistons and exhaust manifold will fit onto a ef 4l engine any help would be great :D :lol: :roll: :wink:

so they have the same bore and stroke as the ef 4l cool now need to price them

a question u should also be asking is wat kind of performance gain u can get out of the XR6T pistons.

Same bore and stroke yes, different rod length though. If you use BA pistons you need to use 6" rods (from an AU or BA). You cant use your 5.88" EF rods.

i just want a good turbo capable piston that can handle decent boost (*15-21) :D :lol:

yeh will need to use AU onwards rods to use the XR6T slugs just as mentoned earlyier.

when selection of the rods go for the E-Gas ones from the BA as they are the same ones used in the Phoon's.

eGAS rod are cheaper than Phoon rods, which are cheaper than XR6T rods.

From BF on, XR6T and F6 engines are the SAME. Only the tune differentiates them.

Didn't pyroay(or someone else) put the xr6t pistons in his ef/el??
