Hold on, 6*9's are good, I use them as paper weightes or use the excessively large magnet when welding.

Ciggy, if ya just bought them, return them and get some 6.5's and a sub w/amp.

Otherwise, sell em to ya mum and buy the others anyway.

lol, i just dont know why everyone bags 6X9s! mine are alright, i mean, if you dont plan on getting a sub, its pretty good! and even with a sub its pretty basey! i have them in my EL, if you dont wanna listen to these guys and want to fit them, dont fit them sideways, fit them long ways if you know what i mean. instead of - - put them | | do you get me?

I hate this crap! Dude - you obviously bought your speakers for a reason? or did someone talk you in to it. Tell us all a little more about your system and your ideas for future and maybe we can help a little more. You might still be able to get away with using the 6x9's if that's what you really want to do. (....bentley.....)

It can be done. Not even that hard unless you've got an LPG tank. Even then I was still able to get them fitted by using spacers. If you have the rear windscreen out for any reason, :? , it's even easier to mount them properly. Mine went in with some difficulty but now the car is being resprayed, I'll get them turned around and sitting sweet..

Someone stole your body parts dude!

Or are they really clear perspex? I can't tell.

Anyways - Much rust to be taken care of during that process for your car?

No dramas so far, no rust anyway.. The missing parts are inside being prepped. See my other topic "My car is in pieces" for the tale!!!

See those little grills? Near your speakers? Are they supposed to house a tweeter? I looked at an EL GT the other day - and there was nothing in the hole? What's it for?

those little grills are there to vent cabin pressure to the boot !
when you shut the doors the pressure goes throught there in to the boot and out the left lower 1/4 panel vent behind the left 1/4 trim
