Hi all,

This is my first post here, but it looks like the place someone might be able to help me with this. The manual aerial on my EF Ford was snapped off. So I got a replacement. I jacked it up, took off the wheel and removed the wheel arch insert. I replace the aerial no problems. But when I pulled on the old cable which goes to the radio, all that came out of the little "black hole" was the male plug! So now I have the new plug ready to connect, but how am I supposed to get inside wherever I need to get to, to connect the new plug? Should I have been more careful and pulled it out so that I could access the female? does any of that make sense?

Look forward to any advice I can get. Cheers.

On my eb the aerial cable goes through a hole down the bottom of between the front guard and door, its got like a felt/boatcarpet over the hole and it slots through that, then once its in there follows the thick loom from the passenger footwell then goes up through 2 "walls" into the radio, unless you got a genuine ford one you'll need an extension for it to make the distance. Easiest way to find the hole is to take the kickpanel off and look above the ecu should see it. I cant imagine an ef being that much different to an eb so it should be the same setup.

All good. Just realised that it comes through the side floor panel in the passenger side there. Connected and working. Until next time... Thanks!
