Just interested if fusion speakers are any good? If so ill go out and get a new 12 inch sub. Seeing as repco have a deal if u buy a 12 inch sub u get the box free i might go get a new one.

my mates put fusion in his car but i want to see what you guys think before i go ahead and buy crap.

Yeah from what ive heard and seen fusion make some pretty good gear. The sub you are looking at is one of there subs from the Encounter series. Seems okay.
What sort of box though if it's one of the fusion boxes that are sold with the encounter series woofers it should look something like this......

For there price there bloody good.
But they arn't expensiive at all, such as the sub package at wwork, $99.00 for a 12" sub and box is bloody cheap...
Theree not the best, but there not bad either.
At the end of the day as they say you get what you pay for, these are cheap, but there good value for money.

I beg to differ, i would prefer to put the $99 towards a decent product that will outlast say ten times over with that added bonus of better sound quality and responce. Ive had my JL drivers for over 3 years and have not had problem even tho they have been driven pretty hard at times. The 10" dual V/C sub in sealed box only cost me $350 and in my opinion kick harder than cheaper 12" subs. In the end its only my opinion!!

Won't argue with that logic but you need to take into account budget and what they are after (spl or sq) These woofers did retail at around 180 i think, so not to bad considering. But yeah likie you said a few more dollars and you really can improve on what they are offering......

Well the way i look at it is i have a s**t old sony explod sub with a f**k out box. It kicks but its not great. So if i can flog it off for $50 and spend $49 then i have got a bargain because it is going to sound better.

I do agree that you should put cash aside for something decent but at the moment i really CAN NOT live without the bass (cant stop the doof doof).

So for $49 who cares. Mines not worth anything anyway...
