I have purchased an AU radio to instal into myEA S Falcon , here is the problem , I need a wiring diagram for the radio or better still a harness plug to fit the AU radio. A big ask I iknow but am desperate to get this working.

you shoul dbe able to nip off to a local wrckers and snips the harness out of that ... or find someone with the AU ford factory manual and photo copy the audio electrics ... meet up with someone with an AU on a QLD crusie and check out their connections for the radio .. few ideas there for you!

Well some enterprising souls have scanned some wiring diagrams for the AU & BA at www.fordforums.com.au . If you register a login, go to the gallery section, under AU series, look for Audio systems - there's 5 diagrams.
I doubt hosting the scans are legal, but you may as well get 'em while they're there . . . .

try aftermarket radio shops... i bought an aftermarket plug that plugged into the original radio out of my lancer so i could put the cd out of it into the mrs's car. only cost me like $20, and the wire colours were standard ISO colours so no need for wiring diagram
