Wondering if anyone here has one of these single din stereo surrounds in their AU? If so I'm interested to see pics of what they look like when fitted.

Yeah, I have one in my TE, looks factory, fits very very well, I'll happy snap it tomorrow and link it in. should be up round midday unless someone beats me too it..
I would very highly recommend one, it opens up your headunit options immensely.

A decent aftermarket headunit with a front USB input would be excellent for the ute. I had considered getting a new factory headunit but chances are it would crap itself soon enough anyway.

Yep I have one in my Fairute and in the missus's Ghia.
They fit like factory. Well worth it I reckon.

Nope, just pop out the factory unit, this surround clips straight in. its soo easy, Even I did it.

Cheers fellas. When I next get paid I'll get one of those surrounds along with a decent headunit with a USB input. It'll be great to finally be able to play CD's and listen to music from my USB.

Just a quick question while I think of it, How do you remove the stereo surround once it's in?

just lever it back out GENTLY with a flat blade screwdriver
