Hello,

I was just wanting to know if I can remove the electric aerial from my AU Sedan and replace it with a standard aerial? If it can be done, is it a straight swap over, or how do the electrics work (or not work) with the auto up feature when the radio is turned on?

Any advice/info would be great.

Pretty easy mate. Remove left wheel and inner splash guard to get access to aerial. Undo bolts on electric one and earth strap. Coax cable goes thru to cabin and will need to disconnected. May need to remove inner kick panel for access to this.

Mount new aerial, feed coax into cabin and connect.

Job done!
