Hey to all,

Was curious to see if any other Ford fans out there would be interested in purchasing a 7" Touchscreen w/ VGA (computer video cable) an 2x Video RCA inputs, all mounted neatly in a fiberglassed surround that fits straight in the triangular piece above ur ICC (Radio Cd Player).

Screen can be used for video playback, xbox/360, ps2/3, reversing camera, GPS or Carputer.

I made one for my own Carputer Setup in my Ford Ba XLS because there was no other aftermarket accessory out on the market. Hence why i am asking you all now if anyone is interested an i will make some up.

Setup will come with 7" LCD Touch Screen (Quality is perfect, can run a 1024x768) able to cearly watch movies, has tint feature for day.

and Fiberglass surrounds painted or unpainted. Paint is a Acylic metallic colour that is a shade darker then the ICC , but looks nice.

Screen does not obstruct viewing an is in a safe area appose to needing to look down at a cd player while driving.

Going price is $650 Mark Neg. pending on how many people order.

Pease Post ur comments.

higher viewable area, easy to install for everyday people other then that of asl costly mods..

Touchscreen, an alot better resolution.

Also the Cost factor as this is half or a third of ASL Mods

It kinda looks out of place... that would be the only downside. The idea is good, but it does look a little dodgey.

Highly illegal too.

- dash mods need to be crash tested.
- screen viewable by driver and other drivers.
- Probably other stuff too.

^ true that.

Still it's going to block a lot of your vision, and be illegal for other reasons.

hmmmm, no im afraid that looks way out of place, and would distractmy driving way too much. needs to be down a little further, so you can still see bonnet line when parking and overtaking. imagine my 4ft or so friend trying to see anything with that there. i should put one in just to piss him off.

But would be good to get some more pics, and some without the windscreen sun visor in it.

lol thats why the Ba's have motorized seat height adjustment, i was goin to make it under the ICC but 7" wouldn't physicly fit, possibly a motorized one that goes in a single din but yeh..

i also made a piece to place a dvd player for the computer under the ICC ill get pics of instead of the tissue box holder.

that looks quite neat
