ok yes ive searched.
the car is using the stock standard system (ba mk2)
im planing on installing an amp + 6 inch round speakers, with future hopes for a sub.
the only part of this im really confused about is how do i get over the hurdle of no RCA plugs from the stock ICC. do i need to put a line converter to convert from high to low at each speaker or just one from the ICC, if from the ICC which wires do i cut into to install it.
also how are you guys mounting your amps, i was just thinking a inside the boot under the parcle shelf via a bracket.
any other info would be apreciated.
thanks

edit:
if anyone in the future has the same question as me, they are mounted between head deck to amp. as your amp takes in the low level.

My amp is under the passenger seat. Wires run through the bottom door sill.
Was installed by strathfield so couldn't tell you about the icc.
I've got my sub on eBay ATM item number 150747933572 If you keen

so far ive installed 4 speakers with much swearing and MDF spaces that i made up.
sounds pretty good so far, it only starts to distort when the music is turned up past 25.

ok well an update. system is installed and then resetup. im in the process of ironing out noises.
its a 4 speaker system with a amp.
incase down the line someone has the same question as my original, the high to low line converters are to be installed between speaker-amp lines.
I installed mine just before the amp as it was easier for mounting

I really don't think winman cares that much. This site is about sharing and trying to get alone with others. Only person who is stiring s**t is you. You should be banned for life

it is considered rude to hijack another persons thread. i personaly dont care as it doesn't anoy me. however if your looking at selling your parts how is having them advertised in a thread named "ba, how to wire up aftermarket sound system" going to help you sell. post it in the for sale section and you will probally get a few hits.
