My understanding was is just a direct swap for the ICC, just unplug the old one and plug in the new one

straight phyisical swap, however you will need to make a trip to your ford dealer for a quick pcm/acm/bem handshake before your audio functions will work. Pretty painless really, ive installed a few

Probably will ... need to get it to talk to the PCM though ... as the BEM side of things looks after immobilisation as well.

Going to the Ford dealer may not be required.

The guys at ASL swap the security module from you old unit to the new Premium ICC and away it goes.

If you are not in Melbourne, you may want to call Fadi at ASL and see how it can be done.

My understanding, it is farly sraight forward.

I'm pretty sure if you go there they can swap it over for you. From what i've seen they are pretty good, you wouldnt have any problems with them

I did mine - no programming required by Ford.
Swapped standard ICU to premium ICU.
When you get the new ICU you will need to take the remote sensor and blue box from your ICU and transfer to the new one and reinstall.
I have a procedure I wrote showing some pics.
If you are interested in a copy PM me your email addy and I will forward it onto you.
