1- bunnings
2- fuel tank etc- make a false plywood floor and attach it to that- cut same size as carpet- but allow access to spare tire
3- Shouldnt be a huge problem unless you leave it on for ages whilst car isnt running.

hope this helps.

hey lukas

#1 try a marine chandlery shop like bullbecks as marine carpet is availiable in a heap of colours and seems to look better for longer as its made for outdoor and marine usage

#2 if possible put the backend of your car up on ramps and check for yourself, but as previously stated your fuel tank is there.

#3 dont leave your stereo on for too long without the motor running.

a bit of extra info to help you

you will have to upgrade your power wire to handle the both amps and to do this you have 2 ways you could do it.

#1 run a 4 gauge wire from the battery to a distribution block and then 8 gauge wire from the distribution to the amp.

#2 run a pair of 8gauge wire from the battery.

also you will a decent earth so earth each amp seperately and considering adding another earth lead fromthe battery to the body

another future upgrade you may wanna consider is a higher capacity battery

sorry for the wall of text but it will all help you

cheers bear

Tech9 K.O.D is the bomb. Blackened ftw.
When you cut your wood to size before you screw it together carpet it. Its heaps easier that way.
And to screw the floor down. Don't. I reckon you should use velcro strips. Works awesome.

AS long as you use the amp remote wire to turn on/off the stereo with the car your battery shouldn't go flat...
Depending ofcourse on how good your battery is at holding charge already...

But basically, the system in my old car was a Digital Designs M1 (Rated 1450w RMS @ 1ohm) + another Clarion amp for speakers (Rated 80w RMS @4ohm x 4 channels = 320w RMS) and a deep cycle sealed battery (good quality) and I used to be able to pump it for about 1.5 - 2 hours without draining the battery too much to start the car.
With the addition of a 1 Farad capacitor, the same 2 hour run time could be reached with enough juice left to just turn over the car :)
So I should think you will be fine for atleast 2 hours also without running into any problems with restarting your car (Depending on condition of your battery).

EDIT :
Oh yes, feel around the carpet before you drill ANYTHING, underneath that step your going to mount your subs on, there may be a wiring loom that leads from the fuel pump and goes across that step, leads back and heads down the right side of the car in a loom.
Also as mentioned, towards the back of that step, directly underneath is your fuel tank, do not puncture with a screw, bad juju :(
