Hi there,
I noticed that I had a rattle coming from my boot. I have sorted that out. I now have a new rattle coming from my parcel shelf. I have found out that the rattle is the parcel shelf itself, as I have removed everything from it (except for the brake light). What should I do to fix this? would bolting a piece of MDF work or would it make the rattle worse?
I am only running a 10" sub @ 250w RMS at the moment, but I have a second sub and a monoblock sitting here, waiting to go in. I want to stop the rattle first.
Any help would be appreciated.

goto a hardware store or somewhere like that and get some Self-adhesive foam tape (single sided adhesive is easier to work with).Try and find where and what the parcel shelf is vibrating against, cut the tape into the desired length and stick it down, make sure its decent stuff, about 1cm thick uncompressed, and fairly firm. I used it in mine and my last car, and it never failed.Dont use thin cheap s**t from Kmart or some where, it needs to be a good thickness otherwise it'll just compress and go hard.
