Hey guys,

Having some problems with the central locking on my car.

One day I walked up to my car and noticed that whilst the central locking had the car locked, when I opened the drivers door, it was unlocked.

Pressing the lock button on the keyring makes the door locks click and go down, unlocking all of the other doors but it doesnt lock the drivers door. The little door lock indicators on the tops of the door goes down on all 4 doors though (including the drivers door which does not lock). I have to unlock/lock the drivers door with the key every time

You're probably thinking that something has come loose inside the door, which I think is the most likely issue however....

It does weird things now.

Sometimes it will decide that whilst the doors are unlocked (the central locking) when you open the drivers door or the drivers side rear door, and shut it, the second that the door closes it tries to lock all the doors using central locking.

Sometimes it will try to lock the doors as soon as you unlock them with the central locking, requiring you to press it and immediately open the door or you can't get in.

Kinda annoying.

Anyone know what is causing this?

Cheers

Anyone have anything on this?

Surely someone else has had similar problems with their central locking?

Cheers
