I was quoted $500 the other day for Clarion 3 way component speakers (newest style available I was told). I cant remember the model but the salesman told me they will retail for $900 after this introductory offer. Does this sound right or is he pissing in my pocket. Are Clarion that good or would I be better off with another brand? These are for front stage (I have a decent pair of Alpine 6*9s at the rear) and will also be purchasing an amp to run the lot at the same time. Opinions please.
