u could do it yourself, but all the locks would have to be changed. unless u used 2 keys one for drivers door 1 for rest. or just use the keypad

still got handles on the car just no door locks.
shaving the handles takes a lot of work including welding plates in where the handles go, which is hard because of the steels thickness and there little room for error with the heat and distortion.

f**k yeah thats an idea, I've changed the passenger side to an el handle.
That and it'd be nice to do the boot put a back up lock in the boot behind the spear, drill a whole and tape the badge back over, then I just need to pry it of in event of failure.
hmm got me thinking. :lol:

I thought cars had to have at least one key hole...to act as a manual override, so it would make the car illegal and un-roadworthy.

Hate to have the key fob run out of battery when you need it and not being able to unlock the car.

phong =P~

a manual handle yes, but I don't believe keyhole, and admittedly it would, pop off the fairmont badge on the boot spear and there you go.

you dont legally have to have any locks or handles you just need some kind of manuel mechanism to open at least one door.
door poppers are illegal.

if you wish to go for no locks at all i would recommend locating an anderson plug somewhere outside the car (under the bumper) so if you get a flat battery you can still get power.
and if the battery dies in your remote then change the bloody thing.lol
