not currently but amps has only been hooked up for a few min for tetsing at a time
at 400A+ a fuse is not that much use anyway

there are fuses that big

what gauge power cables do you have? remember, no fuse means that nice hefty 0ga power cable becomes a nice, hefty heating element if the insulation rubs through on a grounded metal object in the car

what amps are you running?

um i actully run 70mm2 2/0 guage so its bigger than 0
i have acess to 1000A fuses but the 300A wil handle 400A for maybe a few min but it will only b ethat sort of current draws during spl comps.

teh cable i use from work is not car audio stuff its rated at 16kA for .5sec and it is .61kv rated cable so teh insulation is much thicker thna the 12v stuff u have in ya car which is rated at 32v

i have a earthquake PHD5000w 4500wrms at 1 ohm and an otehr earthquake amp pumping 175wrms to teh earthquake splits

my phd5000w is for sale i want to upgrade
so pm me and we can work out a deal

still a good idea to fuse it, better to spend $$ on a fuse than on a new car and system

i take it you're an electrician?
