Hello all,
Not sure if this is in the right place.
If anyone has had the same problem or heard of it I would luv to hear all about it.

When the head unit is turned off with the face off everything seems fine.

But while driving today with the radio on the battery light came on and the car stalled and died completely. Two minutes later everything started again and drove with the radio off and the volt range was reading correctly.
***Had a new battery installed today and the connections were left loose so hopefully that was the only problem  but I am not confident. The alternator is operating at 14.55 volts which is normal (?)

Anyway the installation of the head unit is under warranty- going back next Tues but is that causing the problem and or is something else happening?
Any information would be greatly appreciated- without music I will be completely insane and cranky as hell!!
Thank you in advance.

maybe they wired the positive and ignition wires of the headunit to the same positive power, making the connection always active
