Hi,

I've been driving around with no sound.. for a while now.. anyway.. i got a head unit from my bro that was out of his el xr6...

now i've got the plug and everything... i also got stacker + loom (havn't hooked up yet....)

do I need the stacker all hooked up for the head unit to turn on ?.. cause i've tried everywire after i tried that suppose to be the 'power' and 'earth' wires...

does anyone have a diagram or anything like that, details of the headunit are below...

96DA-18B865-CATSE

Serial: 10764438

Model: FCT015A1-D

thanks.

Stacker shouldnt prevent the head unit from coming on as it would be a remote signal from the head unit or seperate accessory feed that sends the power on signal to the stacker.

What model car is the setup being installed into ...another EL ?

one last question, on the headunit loom, the electrical antenna wire (to make it go up and down when it's on the radio).. is it the blue with red stripe?

on the back of the loom, there is one with blue with red stripe, there is also a blue with red stripe in the dash loom

thanks
