I'm led to beleive the stackers out of the EF's where an alpine unit. Which use the Alpine M-Bus ... so my question is could I use one of these http://www.millionbuy.com/accmbusaux1.html to connect up my iRiver??

from wat i remember, stacker is alpine, uses m-bus, cable is roughly 50cm, male connection
female to male extension cable runs from stacker up to behind the stock deck
finally there is a male m-bus connection that converts to the ford stacker connection (square plug u where talking about)

soooo in theory the cable should work by plugging it into the connector that then plugs into the deck, been a while but it definately looks similar

not sure how it would work with its cd selection and that, but im sure the cable gets around that but just allowing audio like an aux connection etc

for $16USD id be giving it a go anyways coz itd come in handy

to those who have square plus - some of the stackers had a round plug like in the link I posted, while some stackers had a square plug! I dunno why though....

i've never seen an alpine stacker with a plug like that, my stock headunit had the square plug, my alpine has this plug, the Ai-Net plug

http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=764

mp3 player could plug into that, no problems
