This car has a CD changer in the boot and the normal cassette and radio head unit and CD Changer control at dash. Anyone knows how I can tap any aux inputs into the system mainly for things like ipod - I can get one of those cassette stuff that people used to input CD players into the amp via cassette deck but quality isnt great and its the past. Or should I just replace the whole thing with my Sony Xplod MP3/CD player?

Yep I have the premium sound system
Can I put in a Sony CD/MP3 player in place of the cassette player and still use it with the DSP?

You can just get an FM modulator and listen to it through the radio.
And best of all you can take it from car to car!

fm transmitters give bad reception in some areas, better off adding AUX input to premo sound for your ipod etc

I sorted it all out thanks to wiring guide from fordmods. I now have a $1000 dollar Sony xplod head unit in the car and still using the premium amp that was in there and it sounds awesome with the sony head unit controlling all sub and rear outputs it's cool stuff. So I figured out the wiring from the front to the amp at the boot and then hooked up the output for sub and rear speakers to the amp and saved myself $300-$400 bucks thanks anyways. Playing all my 80s mp3s lol

Ah cool then. I didn't know you had such a large budget for the head unit!
If you want even better sound, I recommend you replace the front speakers to a nice set of splits.
You'd be amazed at how much better it can sound over the factory speakers.
