Guys i instaled a pioneer stereo in my car a while ago and dont
understand why the radio reception is always crap. ive checked the plug
and made sure it was all the way in and it was.

My car is a 90 EA ghia with an auto antenna and im using the amp remote
wire from the stereo to also power my amp.
Is there another way to power the amps without using the amp remote wire as this might be the culperate or is there a booster wire some where else??

i am pretty sure its only pioneer HUs which dont have a separate wire for the ariel.

trigger wire shouldnt be an issue, as it is only that. Its used to flick the relays on in your amp, and to extend the power ariel up.

it shouldnt really effect the recpetion of the arial.

did you make sure you plugged the actual antenna into the back of the HU properly? (its the fat black wire)

there may be a loose wire on the antenna end. you'd have to check if the earth on the antenna is nice and tight. if not it may just be your area :P

phong =P~
