:D Hi All - anyone put in a hands free kit in a BA,brought a kit off Ebay
and wanted any help ,tips on how best to install.
Kit is for a Samsung phone

under the dash near the fuse box you will find a small blue 4 pin (i think) telephone input plug. im unsure of wire colours but im sure someone here will know. contained in the plug are power, earth, trigger wire, and audio input

yellow = 12V acc supply
black = ground
black/yellow = battery 12v
green = mute(enable phone)

You can also use the speakers in the vehicle, with the radio volume also working for the phone audio. The connector is next to the power/mute one near the fuse box (2 terminals)

if any one is reading this for reference:-
yellow = +12v
black = ground
black/yellow = 12v acc supply
light green = mute signal

just use a multi meter to double check.

I have an aerial on the Lane, and a plug that is in the storage space in front of the auto selector panel, i presume its the other end of the aerial.
Are bluetooth kits any good?

there is a pannel near your left leg (driver) and that comes off. There there are two connectors. One is hands fee kit and the other is for an input for the stereo.

If you need help then go to ford and ask to see the kits for the input and get them to photocopy the instructions for the ipod input and that shows you how to get to it.
