hi, can anyone help me? i have an ef fairmont ghia and the cd display light, which shows which cd or track is playing, is not lighting up. is that just a globe i can change or alot more complicated then that?

help me please there's nothing more annoying then not knowing what cd or track your on. :cry:

If you switch the head unit on and can just see the display, then the illumination bulb has blown.

ASL Logistics in Braeside is a good place to get it looked at.

the lights for the radio work fine but i cant see the ones for the cd stacker

Then the illumination bulbs have gone. Can you post a pic of your stereo to show what lights are not working?

hi, here's a pic of the sterio. As you can see from the pic it is only the light on the cd player display which isn't working.

Then it is the display light that has blown. Radio technician to service.

An illuminated bulb would look like this:

if you are handy with electronics, can you change the bulb yourself, or is it too too technical?

Any radio technician - its a fiddly job.

I have been there and it can be costly if you don't know what you are doing.
