Ok as per the photo's I have this radio/cd unit I wish to put into my ED.

I have searched through the tech docs and for some reason the wiring guide listed doesn't have the same colour wires as shown in my photo.
The bottom plug which isn;t in the photo I managed to work out that it is for the back speakers as per the doc on fordmods but the main plug has me stumped..






I got the radio unit without any plugs and have since sourced them from a EF/EL Falcon..Can someone please inform me of what wire is what as I don't have a wiring diagram with these colours.Also, does the single black wire go straight to the chassis?

Mate move your camera back when taking close up pics as the focus is way out, you have focused on your pants which makes the wiring identification difficult being so blurred....

What you have appears to be a EF/EL Mid Series factory unit. If you get the part number, maybe someone on here could confirm this.

If it is, you should be able to follow the wiring diagram in the tech docos

If your wiring colours (and your pinout positions) match the doco, you have your answer
