most time its the numberplate vibrating against the boot lid or the boot skin vibrating against the boot reinforcment

to fix the number plate unscrew it from the car and stick on some foam around each corner

to fix the boot skin i filled up the gaps with clear silicone and the put on a layer of dynamat extreme

Exactly what nannas_ed said. Get some silicon and apply liberally to the joins between the boot lid and the frame. The cover with a few sheets of dynamat. I actually siliconed my number plate too if ya wanna go that far...

There's a mob down here in penrith called Stage Co that do it. But any 'decent' car audio place should do it.

I'd try autobahn and CAE (car audio excellence). If not ask them where to get it from, any installer should be either able to get it or knows where to get it from

a 'rattle' is exactly that. it happens when 2 or more parts vibrate against eachother.

I think that outlaw is commenting on the spelling (or lack thereof)
