I am looking at getting the JVC KD-LH915 cd/mp3/wma/sd headunit for $450. Is it worth it as it looks mad and runs alright and its cheap?

i had a jvc and a mate of mine has one like u said they look good and have all the fetures but from what i have seen they dont last all to long. maybe me and my mate were unlucky but mine started playing up with in about 18 mounts, and my mates about the same to.
i got mine about 2 and a bit years ago.
maybe they last a little longer now.
if u can afford more then look at the better brands, sony, alpine, kenwood

A mates brother had one in his VS ute, I was very impressed with it running the stock speakers.
Then another mate has one in his CRX show car, and it does the job and that.

Good cheap unit for flashy features, but build quality leaves a little to be desired. I sold my high-end JVC at the beginning of the year. The sound quality wasn't very crash hot and the face had a bit of issues.

i mean the volume knob started to stop working and the display was dropping in and out.
like metioned cheap and have all the features but quality isnt the best, cant have the best of both worlds.

Im gonna post some positive for JVC

I recon there a wonderful line. ive had a jvc in mine for 5 years. no problems at all. accept i need to tighten the mount after putting in a spacer. purely for a better angle.

All the installs ive done with jvc were straight forward. and from what im awear there all still kicking on. i havent had anyone of them come back.

If i was to purchase again it would also be a JVC.

I had a JVC unit and the laser died after 12 months in it. Got it fixed under warranty though. They're great bang for buck units.

All brands have their problems. JVC only do audio and video, not washing machines and microwaves!!!
i have a JVC and have no problems with it, has the features i need and no flashy crap.
