get a pick or a small flat head screw driver and pry the hell out of any thing in the way, the car is made up of silly clip on pannels, you have to be rough to get some off.

i have a ba ute and you can strip the whole inside with fingernails, flat head and phillips, if so inclined.

theres only three plastic clips to pull out then drop the panel down, completely dropping it down will require removal of the two side panels which also pull out.

have you got a line level converter ?

you can't just run rca's off the standard speaker wires into an amp.... you need a line level converter that you can run in between your speaker wires and amp to get an acceptable input level for the amp to use. some people have used high inputs on amps to their content but this isn't usually achieved using rca's. my mtx amps won't run with my bf without a line level converter.

so is this the plan

1. open up the back
2. connect a converter
3. run the rca's to and amp
4. amp to sub....

basically.. and you can trigger the amp off the ciggy lighter (ACC Trigger) so keyless play with the stereo won't kil your battery. If your looking for an easy way to get the power through the firewall, the clutch cable bush is a good place just be weary of firey death from the exhaust.

This is the one I have used for my BA... Had it in my car nearly 12 months now.....

I took the ACC power off the lighter for the Amp for that reason as I do like to go to the drive inn on occasion or work on the car....
