hey, i put my head unit in my ef with the original brackets from the car and its fine, sits perfect and does not move at all, going over bumps in the car dosen't make it skip. what brand of deck is it.

don't any of the screw holes match up - drill a couple of new ones in the ford brackets ... plenty of people have made em fit dude - should be easy!!!

yeah just make new holes to make the oriinal brackets fit your new H/U easy as. though it took me about 18 months to finally get around to doing it to mine. gravity seemed to work good enough for me

this is what i did don't use the stuff that came with your deck. take the ford brackets off ur tape deck, put them straight onto the side of ur alpine deck, this will definetly work cause i have Alpine, screw them into the side of the deck and slide the deck and brackets back into the old spot where the tape deck was and them screw it back in. easy. don't know what ur getting so confused about.

I have a pioneer headunit, and i used the cage, should i ditch the cage from that head unit and just stick the brackets on from the ford deck?
