A guy here in Canberra had a couple of those cheap rampage subs from CSA
sounded pretty dodgy but the problem he was having was the amp was only turning on randomly. checked the power, ground all were fine whipped out the head unit removed the remote wire and when i started tracing it back i found that it was connected in the middle with loose copper wires
What had happened was that he'd ran the romote cable it was to short so he cut it in the middle elecy taped the loose copper wire to the inside of the scuff plate and connected both ends of the remote cable to it again also with elecy tape....amazing what a 5 dollar bit of cable can fix :D :D

Me and my mate thought it would be cool to take my amp and sub out of my AU and stick it in his old gemmi... it was all fun and games untill it blew the boot lid open, his gemmi evidently has a much smaller boot then mine, when we pulled the boot back down there was this huge bulbasy dent in the top where it had so much sound pressure it had pushed the metal out... so what does he do? pulls out a roll of industrial tape and tapes his boot back down and keeps driving... what a nub...

Dude Three words "Pimp My Ride" seen some wierd and wonderful s**t and i do say s**t that put monitors in the most stupid places like the bumper on one car, but yeah some things are awesome.

but other then that i seen a very nice setup in the kenwood Acura integra subs just in the wiereds postion but it looked neat.

i can put my first car in here :D

was a old skool LN46 1983 Dual Cab hilux. big huge beast with dints ran a s**t deisel with heaps of torque was awesome off road.

any way had a kenwood 4023 deck, was F**k awesome, 6 in pods in the front doors, 6x9's in boxes in the rear footwells, and 2 12" in a bandpass box that took the hole back seat. the amps were a kenwood 4ch 460watt i think running the subs (mounted to sub box) and then a 4ch 380w California Gold (old white one) mounted under the glove box on a little shelf. it was running the fronts and the 6x9's. it had the most awesome amount of bass, for the dodgy silver no brand name subs. anyway goin through hills my ears never popped, i had constant pressure in the cabin and i could never here my old 2.4 dieso ticking over :D
