i also have recently returned from a trip to repco and autobarn!
i puchased these items !
1 clarion 6x9 3 way speakers ! (350watts )
2 clarion 700 watt 12 inch subwoofer! with box!!!!!
3 clarion amplifier ! 4 ohm mono block blah blah blah! cant remember the specs on it as i have hidden it in the
garage so the misses does not see them!

my questions are these!
i am getting this system wired into my au falcy this thursday!

when this system is wired into my electricals obviously the power to run my setup has to come from somewhere!

i have read on another forum that when you turn on your system draining power from your battery' most of the time your headlights and dashboard lights can and will dimm !
is this true and what is the remedy!

or do you think there will be no noticeable change !

and my last question is !
when installing my sub into its carpeted box what can i hold it into place with as the whole
box and sub will turn into a missile on the first corner home !
is there an easy fit for the au falcy boot!or do i have to now make a false floor to bolt the sub box to!!

the 6x9's were on special and are they same size as the original stock au s**t speakers already in the vehicle so i thought good time for an upgrade during the happy eofys sales lol!

the amplifier is the clarion xr2110! mono block 320 watt x 1rms!
300 watt at 4 ohm &
200 watt at 2 ohm! hope that means something ! means s**t to me!

and the subwoofer is the clarion 700watt 12 " (and carpeted box)

the front speakers i will work on in the next 2 weeks or so!
as the original front speakers are s**t!

this system should sound ok i hope!
question !
why would buying the 6x9's and the sub be a problem!
this system should sound pretty good still i hope!
pete.
