Hi guys currently looking at putting three fairly big amps into the boot of my EL along with 2 X 12 inch subs. Problem is I want to keep my spare accessible. Is it possible to do this at all? Is it at all possible to make up a false floor which sits above the tyre with amps in it which can hinge open with amps etc installed?

If you look at the boot install on Pyroays old car there are amps mounted in the floor. Basically I am wanting to know if it is at all possible to do this but then be able to lift up the whole floor to access the spare?

Yes.

The details is where it gets hard.

I've built may amps into a 'rack' that sits on the passenger side of the boot, false floor with a hinge. And the spare is accessible.

Thanks mate. I am going to hold off on my amps for now and go and see an installer on Friday. I have emailed them and they have said that it can be done so we shall see.
