and just get a 600 watt amp to power the four, for your sub go 2 12' 1000 watt clarion subs
with like a 1600 watt mono block amp =] cheerz daniel

It was just the way you explained it, I'm sure your system sounds great :)

People who know a bit about car audio generally won't talk about products by their MAX power rating as it's just marketing hype. If you use product numbers you'll be taken more seriously.

Your recommendation is good for a cheap all round system :)

Personally, I'd use a big 2 channel for some better front splits, run some cheap coaxs off the head unit for the rear and buy one good 12" sub run from an appropriate mono amp. It will sound much better due to a majority of the sound appearing to be in front of the listener and nice quality bass.

Ill defend him, he did put the model number of the Splits he was reccomending. For low-mid range (ish) spits im sure they sound good. I personally wouldn't have bought 4 of them, I would have spend the extra on a better set for the front or an Amp for them.

Thats about what im going for, decent splits up front keep old speakers for rear and a single 12" in custom box.

Off to autobarns tomorrow.

Regards.

Is it EB II?
Im not sure how deep they can go in the EB II and ED's. 58.5 MM might be pushing it.

I didn't have time to rip a door trim off and take a few measurements this morning but i made my way to 5 places non of which sell clarion gear?? WTF. Autobarn had 1 headunit and a 7" screen and the other stores simply had nothing.

Quite disappointed.
