So, its stuffed?

I was looking at some of the random Asian brand touch screen double size players on ebay. They look pretty cheap. Will they fit in there ok?

Remember you get what you pay for, especially with electronics.. Don't expect a no name chinese ebay special to perform any where near as good as the factory head unit.

Having said that, any double DIN head unit will fit with minimal modifications, and a single DIN unit will fit with a spacer tray above or beneath the unit. Personally I'm saving my $$$ for an Alpine 9886i head unit for my TE seeing as the 6 disc stacker died several months ago.

If you wanna get it checked out and not get ripped off, go and see Dom at Audio Image in Balcatta. They're near MALZ on Erindale Rd. Tell him Chad sent you and he'll look after you, whether it be for repair or new head unit.

I used to work there and am always sending people in. He's used to it and is happy to look after everyone cos it ends up getting him more business in the long run.
