Getting one of these installed in the XG ute next week.

Along with a stereo system re-vamp as well ... as the system that is in there currently is s**t.

It's only 8.3cm deep ... so makes it much easier to fit in the ute ... recommended sealed enclosure is only 22.6L.

I don't want massive bass ... but will produce a decent amount ... enough for me ... and probably more ... will let you all know what it's like when installed.

Cool, i have a mate with a ute who would like to find some decent subbies that he can install without having to really worry about space. I'm keen to see how this turns out...

I am getting it installed in the centre ... behind the centre console in a custom made box ... so it will sit behind my left elbow ... and also getting a 4-channel amp to run the front splits and bridging the 2-ch for the sub.

Hahahaha ... well .. I ain't got much room in the ute to fit anything larger.
Should be good ... I might be around to see Jase this coming weekend (if he is back) ... gotta get my shocks installed ... and soggy steering adjusted ... LOL

Had the system installed the other day.
Sounds pretty damn good ... not overly too loud that I need towear ear plugs either ... hee hee.
The box is as small as they could make it as well ... it sits nicely between the driver and passenger seat.

Kind of like a upper arm/should rest in the middle.
Very happy with the splits and headunit as well ... the amp makes the splits sound so much better.

Sounds good, make sure you show pics of the install as you build it as there are not many ute's builds out there.

Wold be interesting to see how it all comes together.

It actually is simply mounted to the backboard ... between the seats ... and base of the box is at the top level of the centre console compartment bin ... it's a snug fit between the seats ... I have a left shoulder rest now ... LOL.

Amp is snugly fitted behind the drivers seat on the floor as well.

I'll get some pics soon.
