The sub enclosure looks too small for 2x12" subs. Mine is at least another 20cms longer.

The guy in the store says it's perfect, so who am i to argue. I thought it was a bit small too, but hey it sounds good. At some stage in the distant future i want to re-make the sub box so it's moulded to the boot structure etc etc

I just priced a T.V. tuner for a Kenwood screen/dvd player.
$599.00. FFS, why so expensive, the pricks.

kit, see if you can get a hold on the australian distributor of kenwood if thats the way you are going, and see if you can buy directly off them, cos then u cut out the middle man (jb or car audio shops) and u get a better deal :D

Nice install and good to see it done by your self and not some butcher from a store! i was going to mount my front tweeters like that but opted for this way, check out the link and see what you think.

Thats a similar set up to what I have got.

Except I got 1000w rms Eclipse AMP and 2 12" Eclipse subs.
And a stiffening capacitor.

Also I got a 4 channel V series alpine amp powering my speakers, you have got to get a seperate amp for you SPEAKERS!
So much louder and clearer!

Oh well in that case you can ask the installers about the HU sitting too high and to the right, that would also explain the broken surround as they would have had troubles getting it back on.
