These old school Alpine Subs Worth Anything and can they wear out over time ...?i think they are free air ones??? i'd say there more for sound than bass

If they got damp then the coil mightnt be much chop.
Subs are for subbass, some just sound better than others. If you want something thats more musical you want a midbass driver around 6-8" inches. They sound better than a sub at anything > 60 odd hz.

Couse he wants them for a dollar? Maybe he plans to rebuild them (send them off to total recoil or whoever)? If you want them bid - no ones saying not to...

I cant do anything secretly.

I have 6,000rms of amplifier power vailable and was thinking of sending these lambs to the slaughter all in the name of fun.

Trying to get high 140's db in db drags.
Dont get too excited about them though. I am not willing to pay much for them,
