depends on what you're after... these ones in particular arent suited to a high quality system, especially if you're planning to run the speakers off the head unit. the output is 4 x 40w, while most headunits are 4 x 50w.
And on that note, the equalizer doesnt sound too good either, with only 4 presets it doesnt give you much options into how the music sounds.

In my opinion, steer clear of these, have a crack at ebay, you'll usually find a decent headunit between 200 and 300...

Stick to the normal brands (Sony, Pioneer, Clarion, JVC etc)

i thaught Siemens made mobile phones not head units!?!?! P.S check out Ebay, You can get brand new pioneer head units cheap as dirt on there

actually siemens has completely withdrawn from moble phones in australia southy.

Hal;f the electrics (dash, clock, trip computer, etc.) on EF/EL falcons is made by VDO which is the Siemens company. Probably the same on earlier models.
VDO is a decent brand, we sell them at work, those prices are great. We have absolutely very very very little trouble with them and minimul warrenty returns.
