I purchased a EF\EL Premium sound system of a ford mods forum member. The code he supplied with it does not work. Is there any way i can get the code of the unit ?... Please any help would be great, i have installed it all and now i have no stereo....

my mate had the same prob in his au he went to a ford dealership showed prof that the car was his and they gave him the code. cost him approx. $25

contact the FM member
 if he cant get the code...see if he can get the vin number for ya and talk to ford...

wtf! he got charged for it? w just took our car to ford and they gave it to us for free

he has told me that was what Ford gave him as the Code for that VIN. so the stereo does not match the VIN... can they do it via the serial number of the unit ?

yer ford are C***, they charged me $10 to get the code, he said he had to go into the ford mainframe or some s**t, it took him like 1 minute to get it, i was p****d off, whatever happened to nice honest people wanting to help u out if its a simple job! all he had to do was logon to the computer and type in the rego n s**t, FORD are C***
