Hey, I'm having some difficulty working out how to put a sound system into a BA XT Falcon sedan since the CD Player and Aircon unit are all one peice.

I haven't bought anything for it yet.. but its really got me confused

Cheers for any help you have!

if you want to run an aftermarket head unit, you can fit it under the ICC.

You can also run a little converter thingy that sits under the passenger sit... an example is a unit called the LC6 (LC6i also) this allows you to run amps and subs etc through the standard ICC, while still enabling your steering wheel controls etc.

If you want an aftermarket headunit, it needs to be install where the tissue box holder sits, and then i think you might not be able to use your steering wheel controls...

Cheers

Have a read of that - it'll give an idea for the wiring of the headunit, and then any amps etc with be simple from then onwards of course.
