I have a mate who is a truck driver and had the latest, can't detect me I'm SPEEDING radar detector and yep you guessed it, he got caught and so did the other fellow he had sold one to as well. Why not try to adhere to the speed limit. Having a detector gives you a false sense that it is always safe to speed.

For those of us who live in the other states where RD's are illegal, the road angel is another option, i've had one of these for years it clocks your true speed via GPS and all the fixed cam sites as well as some hot spots where they normaly hang out, you can program in your own hot spots as well and is totally legal.
updates are available on the net for new cam sites and there is another attachment to detect laser as well but not available in aust, but is in the uk

Bugger that, in the city fair enough, but i aint doing 110 down the hway, 1600kms away from Perth, in the middle of nowhere, which is why i bought mine. Takes 11 hrs as it is. |
