When I lock my car I am still able to open the rear drivers side door, this in turn unlocks all the other doors. Has anyone come across this problem or know how I can fix it?

I managed to disconnect the door handle from the outside so no-one can get in when it's locked but that means I can't open the door at all, from the outside anyway.

I wasn't sure what section to put this in.

hey mate. can you hear the door actuator working? coz if its not working at all then you should replace the actuator.

if you can hear it but it doesnt lock - then often the rod which connects to the interior door handle could be snagging on something causing it not to lock <-- i had this same problem in my eb

Is this a factory central locking system or aftermarket? As it sounds like the rear door has a master unit fitted for it to unlock the rest of the doors....

Sorry I forgot to mension it's an AU wagon.

and yeah this is it's stock setup.

we got into the door and couldn't see anything wrong inside it such as snagging on something, I was told it may be an actuator.

take the door panel off, sit in the back and lock/unlock the doors. watch as to what the actuator does.

I took off the door trim and watched inside, it all looked like it was working properly.
I'll take off the door trim on the other side to compare the two.
Also I was told I needed to buy the whole central locking kit I couldn't just get 1 actuator, so it'd be expensive to fix unless I could get just the one.
