Hey guys, about to instal a single din cd player into the ghia which has the double din original in there at the moment.

I have a few choices of what to put in the gap

1. cup holders
2. universal pocket
3. cd holder
4. center speaker

is there anything else i can put in there?

Im leaning towards the cd holder, as theres plenty of storage room and already have cup holders.

anyone got ideas/opinions?

So you want to fit 2 CD players now? Weird.

Personally I like the Aepro CD holder - it's what I have fitted.
Centre speaker is really not worth it, unless you've got some fancy a*** 5.1channel setup, and if you did, I'm guessing you'd already have a much better centre speaker setup.

I think that any of the aftermarket fillers will look out of place, as it will not perfectly fill the gap in a double DIN surround.

Chase up a low series single-DIN surround as this will look the neatest. Or you can do what I did. I have 2 single DIN units (one is a main source unit, and the other is a DVD H/U).

man just get hold of a single din surround. they are cheap, plentiful and look right.

sell your double one and you could get good money for it, or keep it for when you decide to put a screen in it or something.

just keep your eyes peeled on here and on ebay.

will be harder to find one in cappa than grey, but you will still get one.

I found a single din cappa at the wreckers the other day! Wrong state i know, but you may find one at your local wrecker.

Good luck man.
