16cms is 6 inches. 6 inches is standard for anything after and including an ED.

Which ones are you lokoing at?

yeah dont do what i did, by 6" sony explodes 220watt, and everyone bags ya out because its not how many watts its what the RMS is or something LOL! too late now, their in my car and sounding fine :) im pretty happy with my 180watt 6X9 Panasonics, they sound pretty nice, so i guess the RMS is good for them HAHAH

(i'd find out myself but can't get the bastard lock thing off the door trim when i pull it off)

just realized you said in the door handles :)
umm not sure how deep it is, but like, theres a wall or watever in between the window and how far you can put the speaker in there, in regards to window winder though, well yeah mine just brushes by it, and makes a slight knocking noise, which is a reason why i wanna get power windows soon :)

You've got a fair bit of room to work with.

I think that focals are a bit hard to get in tho.
What speakers are you lookin at?

16cm = Closer to 6.5" than 6" according to me (6.3" to be exact)

JL Audio make good 6" speakers. you can fit 6.5" speakers in an EF but you need spacers and its a lot of stuffing around.

i measured 75mm deep on the bottom postion and 56mm on the top (window is on an angle). another 3-5mm will hit the window.

Please don't take my word for it. I have an EF Falcon. may be different for others.

I'll be checking 100% on saturday when i remove the trim again if i am wrong i will correct my self.

Cheers
LN
