howdy people, Just wondering how i would go about putting a reversing beeper on the fairlane?
I have no idea on where i could hook it up to. So if you know, let me know. cheers BEN

You can buy a reverse beeping Globe.
Jaycar used to sell em' but I cant find it. Autobarn do as well Heres the item on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Reverse-Beeper-W ... dZViewItem Just check it theres issues (size) installing it. Alternatively you would just buy a reversing buzzer and wire it directly to the reverse lamp. taking note of polarity. and mount it externally *ie: behind/under bumper*

i have one in my hilux. i cut the wire though lol.
i would say its just a matter of getting the power from the globe to the beeper then earth it out. easy as pie lol

hmmm, i wonder what those globes/beepers are like. Not sure whether it would be loud enough or not.
And Fabz, where is there a doco? theres one on reverse parking sensor, but not reversing beeper. not that i could see anyways.
